About this opportunity
Cheryl-Lee Florist offer wonderful arrangements of flowers, soft toys, balloons, chocolates, dried flowers, silk flowers, silk arrangements and gourmet Gift Baskets to locals in the Innisfail area as well as Australia-wide. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a well set up florist in Regional Queensland that is already making a nice profit with holiday locations just a short drive away.
Business Story
Cheryl-Lee Florist offer a range of gifts and flowers to suit any occasion and no matter the location due to their online shop and integration with the flower delivery service, Interflora. With the ability to ship Australia-wide and in addition to their loyal, local clientele the business turns a decent profit as it is and there is only more room to grow. Not only do they offer florist services, but they also offer event hire equipment for primarily weddings. This florist is a multiple award winner in the industry and oozes excellence through their highly trained staff, providing only the highest quality florist services. Not only do they have a high traffic website, but they also have a great following on social media with fantastic post engagement on both Facebook and Instagram.
The business operates out of a shopfront in the Innisfail retail district. This great location gives plenty of exposure via a high traffic area and has plenty of opportunity for walk-in traffic. Also included in the sale is a Hyundai 2021 iLoad van, giving you the ability to do local deliveries with ease.
Once the business becomes yours, you will receive tuition from the current owner on how to operate the business on a day-to-day basis. This training will run you through everything you need to know for when you take over.
While the business is in a great condition, there is still room for growth for those who choose to realise it. Future growth opportunities include leaning more heavily into event hire equipment and conducting your own flower workshop events in store. Both are fantastic options for the future and something to keep in mind for when you make this dream a reality.
The current owners of the business have been operating Cheryl-Lee Florist for 17 years but have decided it is time to pass the torch onto a lucky buyer and spend more time with their children. To help see you succeed, the owner is willing to stay on in a more casual capacity. If this profitable florist opportunity interests you, give us a call today!

Phil started his working career in purchasing with large and multi-national companies in Sydney.
A family relocation to Bowen in 1974 was the catalyst to owning his own business.
Phil has been in various businesses from Pest Control to Delicatessen/Takeaway and has for the last 39 years built a wholesale business that has served Bowen, Whitsundays, Mackay and the Coalfields, from 1 truck and himself to 6 trucks and 15 employees.
This has given Phil a very solid knowledge of the area from Bowen to Rockhampton and what it takes to thrive in business there.
Phil has a strong knowledge of business and business practices built through the process of growing his own business as well as time spent on State Franchise Council and dealing with the many changing government policies in those 39 years.
The process of selling his own business has shown Phil the real need for a locally based business broker, easily contacted and heavily focused on the Central Queensland area, which has led to his involvement in CQ Business Brokers.
